General description of  Beginning Cheerleading Classes Activities

              
Nature Volunteer Care voluntarily offers under privileged school students that are interested in learning how to cheerlead the opportunity to attend Beginning Cheerleading Classes.
In this activity under privileged children are considered under privileged due to being denied the enjoyment of the normal privileges or rights of a society because of low economic and social status.

Beginning Cheerleading Classes were initiated/began January 2008.


Beginning Cheerleading  will be conducted by introducing and teaching beginning cheerleading to any under privileged school student year-round in three seasons (Fall, Summer, Spring).

Beginning cheerleading students will start out learning and practicing, exercise and beginning cheerleading moves slowly!

Types of Exercise:
Daily stretches/warm-ups, exercise walking, cheerleading exercise (cheer moves), Skating (to learn body balance, motions and mind use together) and others!

Types of Practice:
Safety, use of arms and legs, head movements, timing, foot steps, jumps, voice, eye contact, facial expressions, pompom use and more after some experience!

When: From January to December divided into three seasons- Fall, Summer, Spring.
Where: Public city parks, schools, and church property with more locations being offered.
Practice locations: Some practicing outside, cold and hot weather, we will do most of our exercise and practicing outdoors in nonpublic/safe sights(for your comfort/no public pressure/public embarrassment), sights such as Tims Ford State Park, Motlow College, City Parks, Elementary schools and more locations in Coffee,Moore,Bedford & Franklin County!

To participate a student must still be in school (1st grade to 12th) with proof of attendance, informal application listing the students name, age, school, grade, address and any health problems, parent(s)/guardian(s) signature and home phone number if available and one extra phone number for emergency, information, schedule changes and other related to Beginning Cheer Camp.
Proof of being underprivileged will be studied before approved to attend Beginning Cheer Classes.


             
There will be no charges or fees for students that participate in Beginning Cheer Classes.

Beginning Cheerleading classes will accomplish giving the underprivileged school students the opportunity to learn, enjoy, feel they have accomplished something and be able to cheer other people.

2010 Beginning Cheer Camp is planed to take place ?? depending on the locations available indoor and outdoor for practice and open offers from the county and city to be chosen as the 1st steady location.
